The Application Process

Below is a brief description of the simple, 10-step application process. Typical application time is 15-20 minutes. Snowboards that have torsion (raised areas or indentations) may take more time and effort to apply. A detailed picture installation guide will be included with each Boardcoverz™ purchase. It may also be viewed by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page.

Note: While trimming the edge during the application process, be sure to trim above the snowboard's beveled edge (if applicable) so that there is no decorative vinyl on the beveled edge, touching the rounded edge, or hanging over it. In other words, it should be extremely difficult to get a fingernail under the edge of the skin. Even if it means that you trim the skin 0.5 cm inward from the board's edge. This will ensure that the skin has made 100% contact with the board's surface help to prevent points of weakness along the edge.
