How long does it take to produce a custom Boardcoverz™ design?: Estimated design and production time for a custom order is 7-10 business days. To expidite this process, please submit snowboard size, design ideas and images within 24 business hours of the custom design Boardcoverz™ prepayment. Is an original or custom Boardcoverz™ design easy to install and apply?: Yes. The application process is very simple. Typical installation time is 15-20 minutes. However, we highly recommend that you take your time. A detailed picture installation guide will be included with each Boardcoverz™ purchase. Please visit the Support section for more information. Will an original or custom Boardcoverz™ design ruin my board's original finish?: No. In fact, a properly installed original or custom design Boardcoverz™, in many cases, will protect a board's original finish. This protection comes in the form of a protective barrier against the sun's harmful, ultraviolet rays. Furthermore, Boardcoverz™ may also protect the board's original finish against various objects that may cause slight scratches or minor damage upon contact.

What happens if my Boardcoverz™ sticks to itself during application?: Don't Panic! Gently peel the Boardcoverz™ apart and continue the application process. Our Boardcoverz™ products are made with the finest quality materials for production. Therefore, although semi-permanent, Boardcoverz™ are very user-friendly during the application process. What happens if my Boardcoverz™ has bubbles after the application process?: There are two solutions for excess bubbles (trapped air). 1) Gently lift (remove) your Boardcoverz™, one side at a time, then carefully reapply. 2) Use a sharp needle or the tip of a razorblade to carefully puncture a hole in the bubble(s) and then lightly press the area to remove the trapped air. Furthermore, low temperature heat (hair dryer) will help with this process.

Can Boardcoverz™ be applied to snowboards with torsion (raised areas or indentations)?: Yes. However, Snowboards that have torsion (raised areas or indentations) may take more time and effort to apply. The most common problem is trapped air. Follow the suggestions above to correct this problem. Remember, take your time and don't panic! A detailed picture installation guide will be included with each Boardcoverz™ purchase.

Where can I purchase Boardcoverz™?: Boardcoverz™ can be purchased through our website or at your local ski/snowboard retail outlet. Boardcoverz™ has gone retail. Beginning in 2008, you will be able to visit your local ski/snowboard shop to purchase one of our latest original designed Boardcoverz™. Ask your retailer about us.

Are there professional sport themed Boardcoverz™?: Not yet. Boardcoverz.com is working on this very concept. Please check back in the near future for this development. In the mean time, have fun with one of our original desgins.

Are vinyl Boardcoverz™ permanent?: No. Boardcoverz.com utilizes the finest quality materials for production of our Boardcoverz™. Therefore, assuring ease of application and removal as desired.

Once installed, can Boardcoverz™ be removed and reused?: No. Although removable, once an original or custom design Boardcoverz™ is installed it must remain on the board until it's application life has ended.

How long does an original or custom Boardcoverz™ design last?: Typically, an original or custom design Boardcoverz™ has an application life of 5 years. With proper installation and care, the life span of an original or custom design Boardcoverz™ may be extended by 2-3 years.

What kind of care or maintenance is required for Boardcoverz™?: With proper installation, an original or custom design Boardcoverz™ will remain in place virtually maintenance free. However, minor peeling or tearing may occur along the board's edge with rigorous use. If peeling or tearing occurs, simply use a razorblade or exacto-knife to remove the excess material.

Do the Boardcoverz™ images or colors fade?: Yes. However, an original or custom design Boardcoverz™ will not begin to fade for approximately 5 years. Boardcoverz.com applies the latest manufacturing technology and techniques during the Boardcoverz™ production process. This process includes a final stage, clear coat application to insure product reliability and durability.

Does an original or custom Boardcoverz™ design peel or tear?: Is is possible. However, with proper installation, an original or custom design Boardcoverz™ will remain in place for many years. Minor peeling or tearing may occur along the board's edge with rigorous use. If peeling or tearing occurs, simply use a razorblade or exacto-knife to remove the excess material.
