Dave Pierson

Founding Partner/President/Lead Designer & Production

Who are you and what do you do for BoardCoverz?

I'm Dave. I run BoardCoverz's day-to-day operations as well as do a bit of designing, printing and shipping, when necessary.

What kind of snowboard do you ride?

K2. I don't have one skin that I'm partial to, so I change it up quite frequently. After all, I am in charge of production.

Mac or PC?

Mac, Is there anything else?

What's your most frequently used key command or desktop function?

Delete - did I tell you I am a designer?

  • My hot wife, Allison
  • Michael Jordan
  • Adam Sandler
  • Jony Ive

What do you suck at?

Roller Skating and riding a half pipe and launching monster jumps

Strategic Partner/Lead Creative & Digital Media

Who are you and what do you do for BoardCoverz?

I'm Bogdan and I consistently dream about making the world suck less. I think BoardCoverz is one of those things that can bring joy to users and it's my job to create as much joy as possible for as many people as possible.

What kind of snowboard do you ride?

I used to switch them every season. I was all about the design. Now I've had my 2010 Burton since, well, 2010, but I now switch the skin twice per season. It's like I change my board every month, and my friends get a kick out of the designs. They're always customized by me, by the way!

Mac or PC?

Mac FTW! My youth was spent installing Windows 95, then 98, then XP. That's the last MS operating system I remember. I was born again when I switched to OSX and I don't think I'll ever grow up.

What's your most frequently used key command or desktop function?

I love Mission Control and Hot Corners.

Who are the five people you would invite to dinner, name anyone (they must be living)?

  • Quentin Tarantino
  • Chris Rock
  • Paul McCartney
  • Jack Dorsey (Twitter & Square)
  • Jony Ive (Apple's Senior VP Industrial Design)

What do you suck at?

Trying to fit 60 hours worth of work into 24 hours of available time to do it. And for that matter, prioritizing one thing over another, even when I see the benefits of doing so. But I do love the challenge this poses.

Eric Meyers

Original Founder and Advisor

Who are you and what do you do for BoardCoverz?

I'm a husband to my college sweetheart, father of an athletic boy who loves to snowboard and skateboard, and an on call advisor to the guys at Board Coverz.

What kind of snowboard do you ride?

I have two. A 2009 Burton with a custom skin featuring my son in a matte finish, and an old school Jason Ford Ride board that I customized with a skin that looks like a big band-aid… Folks on the slopes love that one!

Mac or PC?

Definitely Mac. I started with the iPhone 2 and haven’t looked back. In fact, I get frustrated when I’m forced to use a windows based PC… It’s like going back in time.

What's your most frequently used key command or desktop function?

That Mac feature where you move your mouse to the corner and all of the open windows shrink into view… whatever it’s called, I forget, it’s cool and functional.

Who are the five people you would invite to dinner, name anyone (they must be living)?

  • Mark Cuban
  • Jack Welch
  • Richard Branson
  • Muhammad Ali
  • Shaun White

What do you suck at?

Riding a half pipe and answering these questions without giving them too much thought. But, I’ll give it a shot for this question. I suck at spontaneity (I like to strategize and plan), reading lengthy blogs (aren’t they supposed to be short and sweet?) and design (that’s why I’ve surrounded myself with great designers. I think of myself as much more of a Marketer versus pure designer).
